Can a Marketer be ‘Overly Profuse’?

I just got off the phone with a woman who’d requested a quote on some marketing to improve their sales who accused me (rather nastily, I thought) of being “overly profuse.”

Guess that’s why they need marketing.  Being ‘underly profuse’ is what caused her to need to call me in the first place.  Funny old world, isn’t it?
